Panama City is a major destination on the Pacific side. The actual cruise ports located near Panama City are Fuerte Amador and Balboa.

Panama City averages more than 90 every month of the year except for January.

Rainfall is heavy in Boca del Toro every month except for January and March.

Rainfall is moderate in Panama City from January through March, which makes it an excellent time to cruise or vacation there.

Panama has its share of mountains, which tend to receive higher rainfall than the coasts.

Also note that rain is especially intense in the fall during the peak months of the annual Caribbean hurricane season.
