Dominica weather in November historically has some of the most extreme rainfall in the entire Caribbean.

The average weather of this eastern Caribbean island has 15 inches of rain during the month.

November is the island’s rainiest month of the year for the island, which also is one of the wettest islands in the entire Caribbean.

The Caribbean hurricane season officially begins on June 1 and ends Nov. 30. The final month of the season usually has less rain than September and October for most islands. But not Dominica.

Dominica is somewhat popular earlier in the year with Caribbean cruises. It lies between Antigua and St. Lucia, two of the most popular eastern Caribbean cruise destinations.

Its location makes it a convenient port of call. Heavy rains most of the year make it an eco tourism destination because of many waterfalls and lush rainforests.
