Caribbean travelers find Curaçao weather in January is a warm experience away from wintery northern climates.
Curaçao is one of the ABC islands of Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao in the southwest Caribbean. They are some of the most arid and warm islands in the region in part because of their southern location.
Aruba is the most popular of the three islands with Curaçao coming in second and Bonaire a distant third, according to the Caribbean Tourism Organization. But Curaçao draws plenty of cruise and hotel vacationers who take advantage of its warm and dry weather.

Rain in January

By comparison, the ABC islands go through a mild rainy season from October through December. During those months, the average rainfall for the islands is about three to four inches a month.
Despite the higher rainfall, October through December are some of the most popular months to visit the island, according to the Caribbean Tourism Organization.
