Cabo San Lucas Weather in June: Rain, Temperatures

Cabo San Lucas weather in June has hot temperatures and almost no risk of rain.

Cabo San Lucas is a popular destination on Mexican Riviera cruises. 

It is conveniently located on the southern tip of Baja California and easy to reach from embarkation ports in southern California.

The port is popular because of great beaches and other attractions. It also happens to have great weather for most of the year.

June Temperatures

Cabo San Lucas temperatures in June have an average high of 89 degrees Fahrenheit or 32 Celsius, according to Servicio Meteorológico Nacional, Mexico’s national meteorology service. They have an average low of 66 degrees Fahrenheit or 19 Celsius.

Temperatures in June are about three degrees warmer than May. They are certainly warm enough during the day but a bit cool at night.

Cool nighttime temperatures bring down seawater temperatures. The water feels a bit chilly at times for swimmers in the early mornings.

June is a good month for temperatures, but visitors will find better temperatures for swimming from July through October. That’s when nighttime temperatures are warmer and daytime temperatures reach the low 90s Fahrenheit or low 30s Celsius. But the sand often feels painfully hot on bare feet during the afternoons.

June Rainfall

Cabo San Lucas historically has almost no rain during June, according to Servicio Meteorológico Nacional. If it does rain, the rain is usually brief and light. The average is less than one inch for the month.

June is part of a long dry season from November through July when it rains less than one inch a month.

The rainy season is brief and lasts from August to October. During that time, rainfall averages about two to three inches a month, which is still low compared to other Mexican Riviera destinations. The risk of rain is higher during the rainy season because of the annual Pacific hurricane season.

Cabo San Lucas weather in June is a nearly perfect month for anyone to visit because of warm temperatures and almost no risk of rain.
