Amber Cove in June has an average high temperature of 90 degrees Fahrenheit or 32 Celsius, according to Dominican Republic’s Office of National Meteorology. The average low is 69 Fahrenheit or 21 Celsius.

The average highs take place mostly during the day, and the average lows occur mostly at night.

June temperatures are about equal to July through early October, so June is one of the best months for people to visit the port for warm temperatures.

Amber Cove Dry Season


For Amber Cove, June is the first month of its annual dry season that goes through October.

June also is a good month to visit for a low risk of rain. The average rainfall in June is a little more than two inches, according to the National Office of Meteorology.

That level is among the lowest in the Caribbean. Many other destinations have an increase in rain from the annual Caribbean hurricane season that goes from June 1 to Nov. 30.

By contrast, Amber Cove averages as much as 10 inches of rain per month during its rainy season from October through May.

Historically, Amber Cove weather in June is among the best all year long. Other good options are July through September when the average rainfall is less than three inches a month.
