Amber Cove weather in August offers some of the year’s best weather in the Dominican Republic and even offers some of the best in the Caribbean.

Amber Cove is a private cruise port built by Carnival Cruise Lines. It is near the all-inclusive resort destination of Puerto Plata on the northern coast of Dominican Republic.

It is unusual in part because it normally doesn’t have the same high rainfall of many other Caribbean destinations in August. They commonly have higher rainfall during the month because of the annual Caribbean hurricane season.
