Aruba weather in April is usually warm and sunny with a low risk of rain.

Because of its rising temperatures and many days of sunshine, the number of overnight visitors to Aruba rises in April to more than 78,000 visitors, according to the Caribbean Tourism Organization. April is a popular month for visitors.

The best time of year to visit Aruba for good weather is any time other than late fall and early winter. April is an excellent month to make the trip.

April Temperatures

Temperatures in Aruba are consistent throughout the year. They are among the warmest in the Caribbean.

The average high temperature in Aruba during April is 88 degrees Fahrenheit or 31 Celsius, according to the Meteorological Department of Aruba. The average low is 78 Fahrenheit or about 26 Celsius.

In the early mornings and evenings, the temperature usually hovers in the high 70s Fahrenheit. By mid afternoon, temperatures average out around 88 degrees Fahrenheit.

A pleasant breeze permeates the island, often causing the temperature to feel slightly cooler than it is. Winds are especially strong on the rocky western coast.

Aruba’s warmest months are June, July, and August, when the average high temperature rises to 90 degrees Fahrenheit or 32 Celsius. Water temperatures are often balmy.

Aruba’s coolest months are January and February, when the average high temperature hovers around 85 degrees Fahrenheit or 29 Celsius.

The water temperature in Aruba remains fairly consistent throughout the year. It is warmest during the months of August, September, and October, at 83 degrees Fahrenheit. It is coolest in January, February, and March, at 79 degrees Fahrenheit.

In the month of April, the water temperatures usually average at 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

Rainfall in April

April is part of a long dry season for Aruba; it goes from January through September. In April, Aruba receives on average less than one inch of rainfall, according to the Meteorological Department of Aruba.

It rains on average only seven days during the month of April. Most of this rain occurs in the form of a brief passing shower.

Rainfall is most likely to occur between 2 and 8 a.m. It is least likely to occur between 5 and 8 in the evening.

Aruba is generally a dry island receiving on average only 18 inches of rainfall per year.

Most of the rain in the Caribbean occurs during the annual hurricane season from June to November. Aruba stays dry until October. The months with the heaviest rainfall are October, November, and December. They average three inches per month.

Because of its southern location in the Caribbean, hurricanes are usually not a threat to Aruba. Hurricanes are more likely to pass through the southern Caribbean and increase the amount of rain on the island for brief periods of time.

Aruba weather in April is nearly ideal with only seven days of rain, temperatures in the upper 80s Fahrenheit and pleasant water temperatures.
