Aruba weather in April is warm and sunny with a low risk of rain.

Aruba's April weather has an average high temperature of 88 degrees Fahrenheit or 31 Celsius, according to the Meteorological Department of Aruba. The average rainfall is less than one inch.

Because of its rising temperatures and many days of sunshine, the number of overnight visitors to Aruba rises in April to more than 78,000 visitors.

The best time of year to visit Aruba for good weather is any time other than late fall and early winter. April is an excellent time to make the trip.


Rainfall in April

April is part of a long dry season for Aruba; it goes from January through September. In April, Aruba receives on average less than one inch of rainfall.

It rains on average only seven days out of the month of April. Most of this rain occurs in the form of a brief passing shower.

Rainfall is most likely to occur between 2 and 8 a.m. It is least likely to occur between 5 and 8 in the evening.

Aruba is generally a dry island receiving on average only 18 inches of rainfall per year.

Most of the rain in the Caribbean occurs during the annual hurricane season from June to November. Aruba stays dry until October. The months with the heaviest rainfall are October, November, and December. They average three inches per month.

Because of its southern location in the Caribbean, hurricanes are usually not a threat to Aruba. Hurricanes are more likely to pass through the southern Caribbean and increase the amount of rain on the island for brief periods of time.


Temperatures in Aruba are consistent throughout the year.

In April, the average high temperature is 88 degrees Fahrenheit or 31 Celsius. The average low is 78 Fahrenheit or about 26 Celsius.

In the early mornings and evenings, the temperature usually hovers in the high 70s. By mid afternoon, temperatures average out around 88 degrees.

A pleasant breeze permeates the island, often causing the temperature to feel slightly cooler than it is.

Aruba's warmest months are June, July, and August, when the average high temperature rises to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.

Aruba's coolest months are January and February, when the average high temperature hovers around 85 degrees Fahrenheit.

The water temperature in Aruba remains fairly consistent throughout the year. It is warmest during the months of August, September, and October, at 83 degrees. It is coolest in January, February, and March, at 79 degrees.

In the month of April, the water temperatures usually average at a balmy 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

With only seven days of rain, temperatures in the mid 80s and pleasant water temperatures, April is an excellent month to visit Aruba.
