Roatan Hotels and Resorts in Brief

Infinity Bay

Infinity Bay Spa and Beach Resort is located in the heart of Roatan’s West Bay Beach. The second largest barrier reef in the world is just 50 yards from the beach at Infinity Bay. With 150 rooms, it is one of the largest resorts on the island. The resort has numerous amenities, including swimming pools with a swim up bar and restaurant, a private dock, water taxi service, scuba diving, fishing, sailing, snorkeling, wind surfing, canopy tours, horseback riding, dolphin adventures, kayaking, and island tours.

Anthony’s Key Resort

This all-inclusive resort features 56 oceanfront bungalows with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Caribbean. In addition to the main dining room, which is included in your package for 3 meals a day, guests can enjoy the Key Pavilion on Mondays and Wednesdays, Anthony’s Key Pool Bar and Grill, and Frangipani grill for tropical cocktails and appetizers. The Roatan Institute of Marine Sciences (RIMS) at AKR offers dolphin swim, snorkel, diving and beach encounters as well educational programs for adults and children.

CoCo View Resort

CoCo View Resort is a 26-room, family-owned dive resort. All of the rooms and bungalows are either built on the water’s edge or directly over the water. All packages include comfortable accommodations, three buffet-style meals daily, on-resort entertainment, two boat dives daily, unlimited 24/7 shore dives, and tanks and weights. Their spa, decks, clubhouse, grounds and hammocks are available for relaxing, or you can get more active with the fitness center, kayaks and snorkeling.

Paya Bay Resort

This resort is located on a 22-acre peninsula. It has ten air-conditioned bungalow-style rooms. Dining options include a cliff-top restaurant with the sea on three sides or the Bliss Bar. Guests can enjoy two different beaches, one of which is private and the beach side plunge pool. For activities, there are two nature reserves, exercise paths and nature trails, a swimming lagoon, a “Jungle Gym” fitness center, the 46-foot Kiton multi-purpose boat, an 18-foot snorkeling boat, and of course kayaks and water toys.

Bay Island Beach Resort

This resort on 44 acres has 15 rooms for 30 guests, 8-12 divers on a boat, excellent meals, flexible scheduling and personal service. Included in the resort package is access to the 450-foot beach front plus 39 acres with trails for hiking and birdwatching. The resort offers add-on activities such as fishing, sunset cruises, intro to diving and snorkeling classes, fish ID courses for snorkelers and amp; divers, tubing and amp; much more.

Las Rocas

Accommodation options include three different types of bungalows and a two-story cabin. Activities include scuba diving, horseback riding, snorkeling, charter fishing trips, sailing, day hikes, sea kayaking and island tours. A restaurant is on the resort property.

Sueno Del Mar Diving Resort

Located in the Heart of West End Village, it is close to dining, shopping, beaches, all water activities, and public transportation. The hotel has eight units including two one-bedroom suites, two studios, and four single rooms. Activities available (at an additional cost) include boat snorkeling, scuba diving, discover scuba courses, massage, boat tours of West Bay and West End, fishing, sailing, and para sailing. For dining, the hotel has a beach bar and grill for lunch and snacks, while the West End Village has over 20 restaurants and beach bars.

Roatan West End Hotel

Located on the l side of the island, snorkeling and diving are available at the world’s second largest barrier coral reef. Constructed in 1996, the hotel has eight units, which come as either basic, single rooms, studios, or suites. Packages include five days of diving with three dives a day, seven nights accommodation with one night dive. It is a three-minute walk to Half Moon Bay, a white sand swimming beach.
