Costa Rica weather in July has heavy rains on the Pacific coast and even heavier rains on the Caribbean coast.
The Central American country of Costa Rica has a port of call at Limón. It is a common port for “exotic” western Caribbean cruises. They also are sometimes called Central America cruises.
For Pacific and Panama Canal cruises, Puntarenas on the Pacific coast is a common port of call.
Heavy rains are common throughout the year in Costa Rica, which has lush rainforests as a result. But historically, the rains are especially heavy in July because of the annual Caribbean and Pacific hurricane seasons. The Caribbean hurricane season goes from June through November. The Pacific season goes from mid May through November.
