Even with its tumultuous history, Cuba has been able to maintain its natural beauty over the years. Today, Cuba is a dream for travelers with its popular cigars, unique events, lively music, beautiful beaches and more.

Attractions and Shore Excursions

Cuba is becoming a fast growing travel destination; and here are the most popular tourist attractions that tourists often visit. Cuba’s wonderful attractions include a wide array of natural, cultural and historical sites:

Morro Castle Fortress: A beautiful fortress located in the city of Santiago de Cuba.

The Vinales Valley: An impressive valley with a beautiful landscape

Cayo Coco beach: one of the most paradisiacal places in Cuba.

Of course, there are numerous other attractions ranging from the Valley of the Sugar Mills to The Che Guevara Mausoleum, Old Havana and Cathedral of Saint Christopher of Havana.

Things to Do

Cuba has become an increasingly popular destination for all-inclusive resort vacations. Many of the best Cuban tourist attractions are found in the capital city of Havana. In fact, Old Havana alone is packed with amazing sights and delights. Organized trips to these sights are available from most Cuban resorts.

Outside Havana, the best city for tourist excursions is probably the colonial town of Trinidad.

The summer in Cuba is from June to August. These are the hottest months and visitors will experience intense heat. Summer is also a tourist high season because it coincides with the holiday season in places like Europe. Hotels, flights, and tours can often be booked out well ahead of time, and prices can be higher.

The hurricane season is from July to November with September and October being the months with the highest probability of cyclone activity. There is on average more rain in these months due to this tropical storm activity.

For the rest of the year, Cuba generally enjoys beautiful warm weather. December, January, and February are the coolest months of the year.

When to Go

The best time to visit is from December to May-with its dry sunny days. From June to November Cuba, can be hot, humid and wet.

More than 100,000 Americans visit Cuba annually. A few years ago, only a few Americans had such an opportunity. Cuba has essentially established itself as a standard Caribbean attraction as any other Caribbean country. Indeed, the island is the fast becoming a top travel destination of the world.
