Cabo San Lucas Attractions

Cabo San Lucas is a major cruise port on the Mexican Riviera with a wide range of tourist attractions for cruise and overnight visitors alike.

Cabo is a town on the tip of the Baja Peninsula in the Los Cabos municipality. The municipality also has the town of San Jose del Cabo. Cabo has the majority of attractions.

Prices and services depend on the attraction and the tour company. Cruise visitors can arrange an excursion on the ship or separately with the operator.

1) The Marina

All of the action begins at the Cabo San Lucas marina because it is where cruise ships disembark their passengers. It also is simply a huge development of restaurants, shops and accommodations.

2) The Arch

The Arch at Cabo San Lucas is probably the most famous attraction at Cabo. It draws many pleasure and excursion boats throughout the day. The Arch is a giant granite formation in the form of an arch at the tip of the Land’s End peninsula. Tourists can take a brief boat ride from the marina to reach it.

3)  Distrito del Arte, San José del Cabo

This is a beautiful art district in the city of San Jose del Cabo. It is behind the main-square and church, quietly removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. From year to year, it continues to grow and exhibit a wide array of art.

4) Sierra Buggies

5) Chileno Beach

Thought to be one of the prettiest beaches in Los Cabos, Chileno Beach has soft sand and warm waters for snorkeling, swimming or relaxing under the sun. There are public washrooms and a police security guard in the parking lot.

6) Cabo Real Golf Course

This course on the main highway at kilometer 19.5 has beautiful scenery with ocean views at every hole. It also has a driving range.

7) Cabo Dolphins

Visitors will be able to interact with these majestic animals including touching and riding the dolphins.

8) Cabo Sailing Ocean Adventures

This 96-foot-tall ship (previously used as a movie set) will take groups out to visit The Arch.
