Whether to Go
Nassau is the most popular island in the chain, so a decision of whether to go depends on the weather there.
The answer is, try not to go in October because of the high risk of rain unless it is a last-minute trip and the forecast looks good.
Great Inagua, although more remote, is a better choice than Nassau, especially for outdoor enthusiasts.
