Alaska cruise weather in June at all of the major ports has an average daytime temperature of about 60 degrees Fahrenheit or 16 Celsius. The average nighttime temperature is about 48 Fahrenheit or nine Celsius.

The average temperatures are similar in all coastal ports, but the rainfall varies quite a bit from as high as seven inches in Ketchikan to as low as three inches in Sitka. It rains on average about 16 to 18 days during the month. So rainfall is frequent.

Temperatures in June for all destinations are about the same as September. They are a few degrees cooler than July and August and several degrees warmer than May.

Juneau Alaska’s cruise weather in June has an average daytime temperature of 62 degrees Fahrenheit or nine Celsius, according to the U.S. National Weather Service. Temperatures at night average 48 degrees Fahrenheit or nine Celsius. The average rainfall is more than four inches, and it rains 18 days on average.

Sitka has an average daytime temperature of 58 degrees Fahrenheit or nine Celsius in June. Nighttime temperatures average 48 degrees Fahrenheit or nine Celsius. The average rainfall is three inches, and it rains 16 days on average.

Ketchikan is slightly warmer with an average daytime temperature of 61 degrees Fahrenheit or 16 Celsius. Nighttime temperatures average 47 degrees Fahrenheit or eight Celsius. The average rainfall is nearly seven inches, and it rains 16 days on average.

Anchorage is not a coastal city or cruise port, but cruise passengers usually fly into or out of Anchorage at the beginning or end of their cruises. It is the warmest and driest of the major cruise-related cities.

Anchorage weather in June has an average daytime temperature of 65 degrees Fahrenheit or more than nine Celsius, the U.S. National Weather Service says. Nighttime temperatures average 49 Celsius or more than nine Celsius.

Total rainfall historically is a little more than one inch.
