Aruba tourism stays active throughout most of the year thanks to some of the driest weather in the Caribbean.

Statistics from the Aruba Tourism Board show that Aruba has nearly 2 million hotel and cruise visitors every year. About twice as many people vacation at Aruba hotels than visit by cruise.

The most popular month for Aruba visitors is December at more than 100,000 people followed by August, November and July.

The least popular month is May at 78,000 visitors followed by February and June.

Aruba is most popular with Americans who total more than 500,000 visitors. Europeans account for 80,000 visits, Canadians at 44,000 visitors and “Other” at 371,000.

The island ranks sixth for total stopover tourists among the destinations tracked by the Caribbean Tourism Organization.

The five most popular destinations from top to bottom are Dominican Republic, Cuba, Jamaica, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas.
